Announcements
Final Grades    Posted: Dec 9, 2008
Hi all,

I am working on final grades. They will be posted the moment they are finished.

Answering emails for students asking about them only slows the process. Please be patient.

AFTER your grades are posted, email away with whatever questions you have.

And enjoy the holidays!

Corrected Connections Journal    Posted: Nov 26, 2008
Hi all! Happy Thanksgiving!

I noticed late last night that when assembling the Connections journal, I had omitted a column of people. (The process is taking all of your .pdf files and combining them one by one into a single journal using Acrobat Pro).

I will compile a corrected journal, but I can't do that until Tuesday, as I have neither the software nor your files at home. On Tuesday, I'll send everyone a corrected journal.

Have a happy holiday!

Third Project?    Posted: Nov 9, 2008
Hi everyone---

Hopefully your project is well under way. Bring everything to class on Tuesday.

I'm noticing that fewer than have the students have posted topics on the Discussion Board, however, so please take care of this immediately. Thanks!

No CPN 101 Class Thursday, 11/6    Posted: Nov 5, 2008
Due to continued illness, we will not have CPN 101 class on Thurs. 11/6. Please check the syllabus, stay current on reading and assignments. Bring everything with you on Tues, and we'll put the pieces together and sketch out the rest of the term. Thanks.

No Class Tuesday, 11/4    Posted: Nov 3, 2008
Due to illness, CPN 101 will not meet Tuesday, 11/4.

Please check the syllabus and stay current with assignments.

Reminder---bring eCopy to Class    Posted: Oct 27, 2008
Hi all---

Remember to bring your flashdrives with your articles to class Tuesday morning---PDF files please, but definitely no .docx or .wps files.

Email to professort.emerson@gmail.com if you have no flashdrive, but do so BEFORE class, and observe the format above.

Class will be important, by the way, as we'll discuss in detail our next and final project. Home stretch!

:-)

They'll be up soon!    Posted: Oct 10, 2008
The MyCompLab servers are down this morning for regular service.

Later this afternoon, I will go back and post the MyCompLab assignments for this coming week as listed in your syllabus.

Just thought I'd let you know, in case anyone's looking to get started on that (which would probably be a good idea).

Have a great weekend!

You're a Published Author!    Posted: Oct 2, 2008

I sent the completed journal to everyone as a pdf file--it looks great, and is quite an interesting read.

Congratulations!

A dozen of those emails have bounced back because your preferred email account did not allow the file size of the attachment. If you haven't received it already, please send me a message from your Cortland account (most of the bounced messages are aol or yahoo accounts) and I'll send you the journal:
